Health and Social Care relates to services that are available from health and social care providers in the UK. This is a generic term used to refer to the whole of the healthcare provision infrastructure, public and private sector.

Health and Social Care education is ideal for those who want to further their knowledge, develop practical skills and improve employability in this field. Depending on the qualification, individuals may start off as care assistants and develop care pathways to become nurses, social workers, physiotherapists, counsellors or a range of other related occupations.

There is a wide range of general academic and vocationally related courses in Health and Social Care which include Level 1 – 3 courses at Further Education Level as well as Level 4 – 8 courses at High Education Level.

  • All courses will provide wide range of learning outcomes that will surely equip you with the practical skills to reflect your interests and strengths.
  • After Level 3 studies, you can pursue undergraduate level studies such as Level 4 qualifications (Award, Certificate and Diploma); HNC; HND or a Bachelors degree.
  • You will be equipped with job-specific skills that can be transferred into the workplace, boosting your employability.
