- You’ll need a qualifications at Level 6 or equivalent in a related subject area.
- You have work experience in the business sector and demonstrate ambition with clear career goals;
- If English is not your first language you will be expected to demonstrate a certificated level of proficiency of at least IELTS 5.5 ( Academic level) or equivalent English Language qualification.
This course is for experienced managers and leaders working in the sector of health or social care within the public, private and volunteer, or independent sectors in the UK and abroad. It provides learners with an opportunity to engage with the challenges facing professionals, services users and policymakers in the United Kingdom today. It will create knowledge and skills in individuals so that they can work as an effective manager or leader in the hospital or health / social care organisation. It combines both theoretical and practical knowledge in health and social care.
The Level 7 Diploma in Health and Social Care Management qualification consists of 6 mandatory units for a combined total of 120 credits.
Mandatory units
The methods for assessing student performance are through an assignment of each module to evaluate different aspects of learning outcomes.
In order to pass a unit, a learner must achieve 50% marks in each assignment.
