Course Summary
- You’ll need a qualifications at Level 6 or equivalent in a related subject area and/or;
- Learners who have work experience in legal sector and/or;
- If English is not your first language you will be expected to demonstrate a certificated level of proficiency of at least IELTS 5.5 ( Academic level) or equivalent English Language qualification.
This course will teach the evolution of corporate governance, its importance for any company/business/corporation, the structure of the corporate governance, complex approaches, theories and features of the corporate governance. You will also learn how corporate governance codes are developed over time and their benefits.
At the end of the course, you will be able to develop a practical understanding of corporate governance and will be able to develop a governing body document for any company in any sector.
Learners are required to achieve 20 credits to achieve this qualification.
The methods for assessing student performance are through an assignment of each module to evaluate different aspects of learning outcomes.
In order to pass a unit, a learner must achieve 50% marks in each assignment.

- Level 7 Postgraduate Diploma in International Business Law with 20 credits exemptions; or
- directly into employment in an associated profession.

- individuals who are working in the legal department
- individuals who are working in the education sector at the senior position or
- individuals who are working in the finance department at the senior position or
- to those individuals who are keen to progress to Level 7 Postgraduate Diploma in International Business Law with 20 credits exemptions.
